Our Summer Share deliveries begin in mid-June and continue for 17 weeks through September. Each week you can expect to receive a medium size box (about the size of a full paper grocery bag) containing a variety of 6 to 12 fresh, certified organic vegetables, herbs and a few weeks of berries. Our crops are hand-harvested and cleaned in our packing facility. Extra care is taken to provide you with a neatly packed box.  

The new Mixed Summer Share is designed for the family (or individual) who is looking for a reliable source of certified organic veggies (our Summer Share!), combined with a variety of organic/pesticide-free fruit from Minnesota and Wisconsin.  You will receive 10 weeks of fruit (one to two varieties each time) with the Mixed Summer Share - packed together with your Summer Share veggies.  

This share contains the best of the fall crops with an emphasis on vegetables that can be stored throughout the early winter, cooking greens, and salad greens . The fall share is a great way to extend the CSA season into the late fall and also includes three deliveries of delicious, certified organic apples from Oak Lake Orchard, just down the road from La Finca. The fall share consists of four deliveries; each delivery will be the equivalent of 2 full grocery bags, or approximately double the size of our Summer Share box.  

The Winter Share contains many of your favorite veggies, prepared soups, and berries.  Veggies for the winter share are harvested and cleaned at La Finca at their peak of freshness and frozen for delivery in December and January.  A few items used in our Winter Share are sourced from neighboring farms.   We also include cooking tips as well as recipes with each delivery.   A typical winter share delivery will contain approximately 12 items. Delivery will be every other week from early December through the middle of January for a total of 5 boxes.

The chicken share consists of 6 frozen chickens, which are delivered in 4 installments during the course of the CSA season. The summer chicken share is delivered in late July, late August, late September, and early October; each delivery includes 3 frozen chicken halves weighing 6-8 lbs.  We raise a breed called Cornish Cross from day old chicks to nine weeks of age. The chickens are processed at a state inspected processing plant in Brainerd where they are cleaned, vacuum packed, and flash frozen.

Our Fall Chicken Share consists of 6 whole chickens (12 halves are also available).  The Fall chicken share is a one-time delivery in mid to late November.  A staggered delivery through January is also available with the Fall Chicken Share.  

Our new Salmon Share consists of wild caught Sockeye Salmon from Bristol Bay, Alaska.  The salmon is flash frozen and vacuum sealed in approximately 3/4 lb. packages.  Shares are available in two sizes: 10 lbs. or 15 lbs. and will be available at our Pick Up Sites in early December (on a regular Thursday delivery).  You can choose a one-time delivery or a staggered delivery in December and January.  

Our new Salmon Share consists of wild caught Sockeye Salmon from Bristol Bay, Alaska.  The salmon is flash frozen and vacuum sealed in approximately 3/4 lb. packages.  Shares are available in two sizes: 10 lbs. or 15 lbs. and will be available at our Pick Up Sites in early December (on a regular Thursday delivery).  You can choose a one-time delivery or a staggered delivery in December and January.
